Pic nic

Last Friday I had another company’s activity. There are usually two each year, one in Christmas and another in the summer. This last one is usually when I’m on vacations but this year I made it. It was the already famous “cheese and wine picnic”.

Due to the fact that lots of people have special dietary requirements, is generally impossible to please them all. This time however, those people were the ones doing the shopping and, for the first time, everyone could eat everything. To accompany the food, I was in charge of the wine and, after half an hour on the wine section, we had French, Italian, South-African and Portuguese wines, including an amazing “Green wine”.

After lunch, and under a deep grey heavy sky, we decided to go to Greenwich. We spent the afternoon eating, drinking and playing. From football to kite, we had everything. In the evening, there was a “Jenga” competition. Luckily, the looser was the person ahead of me.

I reached home by nine, really tired but thinkih that these things are really nice. It was an amazing day!
